Terms of Use

By downloading or using Nori you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of Nori on Apple devices.

Nori gives general nutrition information and estimates. It doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it isn't a substitute for a doctor, dietitian or other qualified professional.

Talk to a professional before changing your diet if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, have or had an eating disorder, or live with a medical condition such as diabetes. Nori isn't designed for anyone who needs medically supervised nutrition.

Calorie and nutrient values come from food databases, product labels, your own entries and, for photo scanning, automated estimates. They can be incomplete or wrong. Check amounts before relying on them, especially for allergens.

You can use Nori without an account. If you create one for sync, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think someone else has accessed it. You can delete your account at any time in the app.

Nori Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• If a free trial is offered, it's shown before you subscribe. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling keeps Plus active until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Deleting your Nori account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Prices are shown in your local currency in the App Store before you confirm. If a price changes, Apple will tell you in advance and ask for consent where required.

Don't misuse Nori. That means no reverse engineering, scraping, interfering with our servers, uploading unlawful content or using the app to harm others.

Entries, recipes, notes and photos you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can run Nori for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

The Nori app, name, mascot, design and software belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app, not ownership of it.

Nori is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made from estimates in the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

You can stop using Nori at any time. We may suspend access if you seriously breach these Terms. If we update them we'll change the date above and tell you in the app about important changes.
